It is 4.27.08 and it was humid in Tokyo.
JEANNINE IS HERE! We had a really wonderful time in Tokyo. Got up early and had some breakfast, walked to Yaukuni shrine, subway’d to Shibuya and hung around Yoyogi park and Harajuku and lastly took the train to Daiba and walked around the Harbour. We caught the shink home after picking up her gigantic luggage and I’m now waiting for a few friends to call to go out for drinks and a bite to eat tonight. We’re pretty beat, but Jeannine had a rough flight this time and she’s crashed out for a nap before going out tonight.
We’re all set to go to Kyushu, we just need to pack. I think I’ll take the Holga. I really don’t know what else to write but how ecstatic I am to have Jeannine here, and I can already tell it’s going to be a bummer when she leaves, and a grueling 4 months until I’m home.
For the next week or so, I’ll be on the notebooks, so it’ll be transcribed on Sunday, hopefully.
