It is Wednesday 6.18.08 and it is a bit cooler in the morning, but then it gets really fucking humid in the afternoon.
Crawled out of the futon at about 9:30 and performed regular internet-checking operations. Petar sent me a text saying he’d be an hour later to meet me for the gym today. At the gym I saw 40 Japanese old people in downward dog pose. It was slightly hilarious. We worked on arms today and then ate lunch. They’ve changed the entire Royal Host menu again. I don’t mind so much, but I’m (as you might imagine) a bit committed to a routine.
I downloaded Ang Lee’s HULK, because I haven’t actually seen it and I want to. I also have Deadwood waiting for me to start, but it’s tough when I’m cutting out my TV time for PS3 time. I also called for a flight home and it will cost me about $1,300CAD and that’s about 300 less than I have on my credit card. I’ve moved the money over, but it’ll take a few days to finalize, but on the 26th of August I’ll be going home. I’m pretty pumped.
Went to Iwata to teach both of my classes and came directly home to start developing. It took a while for me to get the temperature right, but it came out in the end and it should take overnight to dry. Tomorrow I’ll do some scanning and I’m excited to see what comes out of the Argus that isn’t absolutely shitty film.

does going home mean stopping in vancouver on the way?
the flight through vancouver was about 500$ more expensive :( i’m sorry james. i will have to make a roadtrip soon though. more than likely this summer. i have some people to catch up with on the westcoast…
oh! but i have news about your DS synth ;) i’ll email you about it!
I hated Deadwood so much. It was just so, so, American. I think I feel that way about all westerns. I would be interested if Canadians get it?
too bad about not seeing you. it probably wouldn’t have lived up to my expectations anyways…
